After over 20 years in the environmental consulting business, the founders of Blue222 recognized a clear and consistent problem. Consulting clients (Clients) use a lot of small independent vendors. The process used to engage and manage projects with their Vendors is very inefficient. And, the Clients typically pay the Vendor very slowly. Since the average Vendor performs work for multiple Clients, the slow payments begin to add up very quickly, and the Vendor reaches a point of extreme cash flow problems. Eventually, the Vendor has to turn down jobs when Clients need them because they can't continue to stretch out their cash flow.
Blue222 was created to solve this problem. We provide a simple, online platform for Clients to bid work to Vendors, engage the Vendors, manage all ongoing projects with their Vendors, and electronically pay the Vendors in one easy to use service. We also provide "micro-factoring" to the Vendors. This means that we advance the Vendor for payment of their invoice within four business days, solving ALL of their cash flow problems. Eliminating cash flow problems allows the Vendor to perform more work, making the Vendor more reliable to the Client.
